Think about getting your cello out and giving them some lessons. I’d love to add moderately musical coneheads to the observations next year. We were also noticing that the Slightly Musical Conehead is not supposed to be in our area - however, it is pretty clear that they are moving North and the range shown on the website appears to be dated. Now I have motivation to dig into it a big more. yay! You can help update this by sharing your observations as a citizen scientist through an app like iNaturalist. It is a free app you install on your phone. You take pictures of insects, flowers, trees, etc. and the app helps you identify them. If you click on share, it allows other people to look at the pictures and verify your identification. If three people are able to identify the picture, it becomes a research grade, and scientists can use this data to track the range of species. I’ve always been curious to identify things, and now I can use that curiosity as a citizen scientist. iNaturalist has become my favorite app recently. I hope you enjoy it too.Garden Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01772545526724127436noreply@blogger.com
