Make that 3 times so far - rain soaked me once while picking beans, so I came in to change. Got soaked again while feeding the birds, so changed again to leave the farm for school. I'll get home and change again for CSA distribution - and hope not to get soaked for a 3rd time today!
We are thinking damp from being in the rain as it falls. But, it can lurk in different places, just waiting for you!
This morning - damp #1 - climbed into the back of the truck, forgetting that we always have a puddle on the topper. I weigh enough to lower the back end so that the puddle visited me. Then, there is the "oops, didn't see that puddle there" thing.
